Animal Rescue of Tracy depends on our volunteers to help save and find great homes for our dogs and cats. Everyone associated with our group is a volunteer. We continually need more volunteers that are dedicated to helping save animals lives.
Join us to find new homes for our adoptable pets. From setup to cleanup and animal care to public interaction, we are always looking for help at our weekend adoption fairs. Whether you can invest your time into one fair a week or one fair a month, we’re happy to have your help.
Another important part of our success has been the help of enthusiastic volunteers in identifying fundraiser opportunities and raising money through ticket sales, event participation, and, of course, spreading the word about Animal Rescue of Tracy. We also appreciate any opportunity to make the public more aware of our organization and mission through media slots, articles, partnerships, etc.
If you’re aged 14-17 years and would like to help Animal Rescue of Tracy while fulfilling your community service hours, we can help each other! The first portion of your community service will consist of Cat Room Cleaning in order to properly train in the importance of cleanliness for animal health. Then, you’ll have a chance to interact with the animals at Pet Adoption Fairs and help us by getting the word out about fundraisers.
One of our greatest areas of need, cat room cleaning is a crucial part of our daily operations. Our adoptable cats are shown at Petsmart in Tracy, CA at various times throughout the month. In order to continue this valuable exposure for our cats, we are responsible for keeping the space clean and providing them with daily interaction. This is an excellent project for a cat lover since you’ll get a chance to spend time with the cats during the cleaning. It is also an excellent exercise for a responsible child whose parents want to teach about the responsibilities of pet ownership.
Download an Adult Volunteer Application or a Junior Volunteer Application. Once completed, you may submit it in person by visiting our mall adoption fairs. You may also Contact Us with any questions.
